Wedding in Chianti - Livernano - Radda in Chianti

Wedding in Chianti - Livernano - Radda in Chianti
"In the middle of nowhere" this could be the title for this post. Livernano is a beautiful and unique wedding venue, surrounded only by green trees and vineyards.
Before speaking about the marriage, we want to realy thank Daniela, the 'boss' of Livernano. A typical tuscany lady, kind, sincere and sympathetic, which proved to be very open with two photographers never met before like us, putting us at ease and making feel like at home.

Leo and Wendy are an English couple, but with Chinese origin, who decided to get married right in the center of Tuscany, in the heart of Chianti Classico, celebrating with our wine and eating our best dishes.

Leo is a military of the aviation of his majesty and decided to wear the dress uniform for the ceremony as well as a picket of fellow soldiers who have given a particular color touch to the ceremony, which was held in the shade of tall pine trees surrounding the small village of Livernano, with their best by friends and relatives.
One of the most special moments was undoubtedly the ceremony that followed the civil ceremony. The couple wanted to honor a Chinese tradition, celebrating the tea ceremony, together with parents and close relatives. This ritual symbolizes the union of the two families and the entry of spouses in each other's family.

The couple have asked a photographic wedding reportage service, without poses and constructed images, giving us full freedom to portray in our own way the various moments of their marriage.

We leave you to the images that we are certain will speak for us

Dimitri e Linda - Wedding in Villa Paolina Lucca

Dimitri e Linda - Wedding in Villa Paolina Lucca
On the hills of Versilia in the north of Tuscany there's one of the most exclusive villas of Lucca's area: Villa Paolina.
Historic villa that has had among its most distinguished guests: Pauline Bonaparte, sister of Napoleon.
Surrounded by greenery and with a view that sweeps from La Spezia to Livorno was the beautiful setting for the wedding of Linda and Dimitri.
Their story began over ten years ago and to crown such a long engagement, they had to choose a location worthy of such an important story.

The religious ceremony took place in Massaciuccoli Church, a small church overlooking the beautiful lake. After the ceremony the bride and groom gets to Villa Paolina for their wedding party.

For the wedding reception the couple haven't spared no expense, taking care of every detail personally together with professionals of which they have availed themselves.

Flowers: Me Wedding.
Catering: Real Party.
Dresses: Laura La Sposa Chic
Wedding Cake: Yuri e Alice Bakery

We have been privileged to tell their story through our photographs. Enjoy!

ND Photo first Indian Wedding in Italy

ND Photo first Indian Wedding in Italy

Our 2015 wedding season ended in a unique  way, we were privileged to shoot our first Indian Wedding in Italy.

In the wedding photographer's world, the indian wedding ceremonies are famous for their vibrant colours, intriguing rituals and for the joy of the wedding feasts.

Preparations begin the day before the actual wedding, with rituals imbued with gestures and charm.

The happy couple had asked to keep most of their images private, but they have gifted us a small selection to add to our sharing portfolio (thank you for this opportunity!).

The ceremony was held in late December in Sorrento. The newlyweds began their day with their civil ceremony at the Correale Museum, in a baroque room as the sun of southern Italy poured through. Guests wore an array of colourful traditional garments as well as western attire, a wonderful fusion of cultures.

Following the civil marriage, the couple moved onto the beautiful terrace of Villa Antiche Mura, and changed into lavish traditional clothing.

The religious ceremony was divided into two parts, the first was a Sikh ceremony followed by a Hindu ceremony. Both rites were enveloped by a magical atmosphere and were followed with great interest by all the guests.

We hope that through our pictures, we've been able to give you a small glimpse into the magic, fusion of cultures and awesomeness that this marriage has awakened in us.
